Position Description – Application Developer

IronArch Technology is looking for a ServiceNow Application Developer with a team-oriented focus.
The selected candidate will be a key member of an on-site team developing and maintaining and Army end-user facing ServiceNow web application. The candidate will work to identify, document, and prioritize customer requirements.  The candidate will work with the existing development team to analyze, design, develop, review, debug, test, deploy, document, and support a ServiceNow-based web application.  The candidate must be capable of developing clean, intuitive, modern user interfaces with rich web-based functionality to guide users through and multi-step process.
  • 3-5 years of experience with web application development.
  • The selected candidate must have an active SECRET Clearance to start employment.
  • DOD Experience highly desired, U.S. Army experience preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of Object Oriented web application development experience in .Net OR Java using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience with data modeling to include designing and implementing new data entities and attributes based on end user requirements.
  • Must have experience and understanding of how to query data in a SQL database.
  • 2 years of application development experience in the ServiceNow platform including ServiceNow Scripting would be desired (administration/configuration is a plus).
  • Must have at least 2 years of AngularJS development experience.
  • Must have familiarity with ServiceNow Modules, Web Services, RESTFul APIs, ServiceNow APIs, Jelly, Glide scripts, Ajax Scripts, and Security Rules.
  • Experience in DOD application development standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of best practices for web security.
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology.
Desired Skills:
  • 3-5 years of overall experience and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training desired.
  • Experience with Highcharts JavaScript Library.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with Bootstrap UI Framework.
  • Calculate, track, and evaluate technical solutions against expected business outcomes.
  • Experience with developing and deployment proof of concept capability for demonstrations.
  • Assists in articulating business requirements.
  • Analyzes business requirements to produce technical approaches and level of effort estimates.
  • Identifies acceptance criteria and develops test plans to define production ready functionality.
  • Reviews and tests code developed by other developers.
  • Supports end users with issues encountered while using the system.
  • Develops and tests code to meet business requirements.
