IT Subject Matter Specialist - Acquisition Cost Estimator

IronArch Technology is searching for an IT Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) to provide Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) services to the Department of the Air Force. This position will focus on performing financial statement audits, performance audits, service provider audits, examination and financial management consulting services related to audit readiness and compliance engagements.

Job Description
  • Performing information systems security and internal reviews over networks, systems, applications, platforms,  databases, and operating procedure in accordance with established Federal auditing standards
  • Interface with client to perform corrective action plan validation activities to verify if remediation actives have been implemented
  • Assist in the development of proposals and thought leadership documentation
  • Must have a Secret Clearance (Active)
Candidate Requirements
  • Four year degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
  • Eight or more years experiences in IT audit
  •  Air Force legacy financial management systems and processes
  • Air Force policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management
  • DoD and Air Force financial management policies and procedures
  •  Cost Estimating and/or Earned Valaue Management experience in support of AF acquisition programs    
  • Experience with and understanding of DOD acqusition management processes
